This was by far our largest show (to date) and we are really proud of what we achieved. The Garden of Reflection was designed for The Piggot School in Wargrave as a space for students to use as both study space, reflection space and an area where mentoring and counselling sessions can take place. It also offers an area of respite for pupils with Special Educational Needs. The planting choices were made with this in mind providing a space that allows movement . Members of the student body also worked alongside a local Blacksmith and Copper smith to create the tree of reflection which was a focal piece for our Show Garden and will be within their space as well
We were very lucky to be visited by some special guests whilst we were at Gardeners World Live. Indeed Monty Don even did a short section for the Gardeners World broadcast from the garden.
